If you decide to try a detergent without chemicals, you should choose the one that suits you.

Baby soap and soda

This detergent will effectively cope with even the most persistent dirt. For cooking you will need: 100 ml of hot water, 2-3 tbsp. l baking soda, 100 g of baby soap (you can use any other) and 3-5 drops of essential oil.

Rub the laundry soap on a fine grater. Place the chips in a plastic container and fill with hot water (one third of the volume). Send it in the microwave or in a water bath and wait until it is completely dissolved.

Stir in the remaining water. When the solution has a uniform consistency, add vodka and glycerin. You should have a liquid composition that, after thickening, forms a gel. Put it into the bottle with the dispenser and use as necessary.

Mustard and water

If you want to save - this tool will be the best option. To prepare it, you will need only two components: 1 liter of hot water and 2 tsp. dry ground mustard. Pour water into any container, add mustard and stir everything until a thick foam forms. The finished composition qualitatively cleans dishes from grease and other contaminants.

To prepare the composition, you need the following ingredients: 100 g of laundry soap, 250 ml of water, ¼ packs of baking soda, mustard powder, ground lemon peel and ground coffee (50 g each), 0.5 tsp. table vinegar, 15 ml borax in glycerin (half a bottle). Instead of vinegar, you can use 1 tbsp. l lemon juice.

Grind laundry soap on a grater, add vinegar and borax. Then fill the soap chips with water. It must be hot so that the soap dissolves faster. Leave the composition for 3-4 hours. If you have no time to wait, use a blender. Now pour soda and stir everything with a spoon until smooth. The mass should become quite dense and dense.

At the next stage, mustard is added: it cleans well the frozen fat and interrupts the soapy smell. Ground coffee and lemon peel act as an abrasive. Add these ingredients to the mixture and beat with a blender. Pour it into any suitable container. If the detergent is too liquid, reduce the amount of water. Nothing needs to be done with a thick consistency - transfer the mass to a flat jar and take out a sponge for washing dishes.

Check on prof. suitability

For each contestant I did the same test - in three identical plates I melted approximately the same amount of butter.

And washed in turn with each option.

Result: tool number 3 was completely unable to remove the fat from the plate, and number 2 removed it by about half.

Expense and expense

We calculate the price of the winner:

  • soap - 18 rubles. for a whole piece - it took a quarter - 4.5 rubles.
  • soda - 24 rubles. pack - used about half a pack - 12 rubles.
  • essential oil - 99 rubles. a bubble - 10 drops is about the 5th part - 20 rubles.

I consulted with an experienced doctor regarding the use of households. Soaps for washing dishes, in particular children's dishes, and its effects on the body:

The composition of detergents for dishes includes surfactants. And on the one hand, they are very good, because they allow you to remove the grease film from the surface of the dishes, but there is one problem - some of them are toxic substances. And at the same time they are very poorly removed from the surface of the dishes. The studies that were carried out show that in order to wash these substances off the plate, it is sometimes necessary to rinse it up to 15 times. Accumulating in the human body, these substances can cause the most unpleasant consequences, because a number of these substances even have a carcinogenic effect, that is, contribute to the development of oncological diseases in humans.

I practically do not use commercial detergent for dishes, except when my dishes are too oily. But even in such isolated cases, I worry about the health of my family, because I also have to wash children's dishes. I'm glad that I now have a safe home remedy. I definitely have enough for a long time.

It concerns me, and you ...

Think for yourself, decide for yourself to have or not to have ...))

Thank you, Anna, for another useful article!

My family and I did not switch to a homemade product similar to what Anna described here. I personally generally try to wash the dishes without the aid when I use the dishes alone (for example, in the office or when the family is on vacation). My just very hot water. And I don’t eat particularly fatty foods ...

Well, and when you still have to use the product, we buy “environmentally friendly” in the store. There is, however, no certainty that this is not just marketing))

I will probably say heresy and in general, they will not appreciate me, but ...
My mother has been washing dishes with household soap and (or) soda for a long time without mixing them, without specially making anything.
I do it sometimes too. Everything is perfectly laundered. Hands do not dry.
Liquid soap according to the recipe above is, of course, more familiar for washing dishes, but if you think about saving money (and who doesn’t want to bother with hand-made products), you can just do household soap.
Although, perhaps, its effectiveness still depends on the hardness of the water. Soda and vinegar in the recipe above, it, obviously, soften when applied.

Thanks, Anne. Not at all heresy.

Farid, I’m sorry, but it has already moved too far from the blog with the topic “personal effectiveness”.
Please do the mailing segmentation, I’m not at all interested in reading such articles about soap, pans, pressure cookers, etc.
You can make a separate segment with articles on selling links (links in the article without no-folllow) and I will personally unsubscribe from it.

Dmitry, I write on topics that interest me. Environmental friendliness and naturalness - one of these topics.
I understand perfectly well that some of my readers fall off after such articles. But you will not please everyone, unfortunately.

Segmentation is now available only to readers via RSS. If you are signed by mail, then here I am powerless.

Good, Farid. I understood.
Then I will ask on the topic of the article
“I consulted with an experienced doctor regarding the use of households. Soaps for washing dishes, in particular children's dishes, and its effect on the body ”- the doctor’s experience has not been proven, there is no reason to consider him experienced. The composition of laundry soap is not described in the article, there is no reason to consider it safe.
It turns out that the opinion about the safety of funds is based only on the personal experience of Anna and the advice of an unknown "doctor"?

Calculations with the price are also not entirely correct, because, at a minimum, the time to manufacture this soap and other resources (electricity, work space, possible losses due to overheating) are not taken into account, only the source materials.
and the comparison goes with one of the most expensive products on the market. let's compare with pemolux for 50r / liter, the picture is not so rosy.

Most likely, no scientific research on the benefits / harms of these “products” has been carried out, so it is unclear how much they better wash off bacteria and decaying food debris and do not leave chemical elements behind on dishes.

I agree, as a blogger, I must find a middle ground between frank blizzard and quality journalism.
At some point, I stop the excavation and get an article.
This is not an article in a scientific journal, but just a blog entry.

As for the doctor, we even paid for this consultation)) So the doctor is famous.
Well, to believe it or not is the eternal question of the Internet.

I asked Anna to answer your question about the doctor. I think in 10 hours she will appear and answer.

Dmitry, if you do not believe this doctor, watch the video from television (link in the article before the conclusion) where together with the "real" doctor they prepared a similar dishwashing detergent and stated that it was completely safe.

I wash the dishes with mustard powder, dissolving it in hot water. If you have the opportunity to plug a sink and draw water, as in a basin, then it is very easy to wash the dishes, throwing a handful of mustard powder into the water. Eco-friendly, cheap. It dissolves fat very well.
He also washed my hair. The result is amazing.

Advantages and disadvantages of homemade cleaning products

The main advantage of such compounds is safety. No manufacturer can guarantee a 100% natural composition of products, while home-made products are made from improvised products that do not contain carcinogens or toxic components.

Subject to the dosage, pastes and gels are safe for health, effectively remove grease and dirt, do not remain on the dishes. Of the pluses, the speed of preparation is noted - most recipes require an hour of free time. Homemade products do not dry out the skin of the hands.

The disadvantage is fast consumption. Unlike store powders and gels, homemade detergents are consumed faster. Because of this, many housewives prefer to use finished products. Also, if the dosages are not followed, the cleaning mixtures may not cope with the impurities.
